A Moomin winter hat for children, knitted in soft acrylic. A soft fleece lining sits against the skin and blocks the wind. The knitted ears are the part children notice first.

The knit flexes, so it stays on through sledging and stroller naps without pressing on the forehead. Light enough for the walk to school, warm enough for the playground after it.

Kids 1.5–8 years, 47–55 cm, in beige. An official Moomin product by Nordicbuddies, designed in Finland.

100% acrylic with a soft fleece lining. Warm, light, and gentle on sensitive skin.

Maker

Nordicbuddies is a design house founded in Finland in 2019, working under official Moomin licence. Prints come from Tove Jansson's original drawings, on 240 g/m² cotton. The founders grew up with the 90s animation and design for adults who still read the books.

Size & Fit

Kids 1.5–8 years, 47–55 cm. The knit stretches, so it fits through more than one winter.

Care

Hand wash, or machine wash at up to 30°C on a wool or delicate cycle.
Use a mild detergent.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Reshape while damp and dry flat.
Store folded to keep its shape.
