Details

A Moomin waterproof jacket cut for weather that changes on the way to work. The shell is 60% polyester and 40% polyurethane — it keeps rain and wind out and still lets air move, so you are not wearing a plastic bag by the second tram stop.

The seams are taped and stitched, which closes the joins where water usually finds its way in. Pockets are waterproof and button shut. The hood has a visor and drawstrings, and the sleeves adjust with buttons.

Unisex, sizes S to XXL, in yellow. An official Moomin product by Nordicbuddies, designed in Finland.

Maker

Nordicbuddies is a design house founded in Finland in 2019, working under official Moomin licence. Prints come from Tove Jansson's original drawings, on 240 g/m² cotton. The founders grew up with the 90s animation and design for adults who still read the books.

Size & Fit

Unisex sizing, S to XXL. Cut with room for a hoodie underneath. Between sizes, take the smaller one for a closer fit.

Care

Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Machine wash at up to 30°C on a gentle cycle if needed.
Use a mild detergent.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron the coated surface.
Hang to dry fully before storing.
