From the Moomin 80 collection: a large Moomin design across the back, small logo at the front, in deep black. Cotton at 240 g/m².

Relaxed unisex cut that suits a range of body types, and stays comfortable through long wear.

Material

100% cotton, 240 g/m². Thick and comfortable against the skin, and holds its shape through repeated washing.

Maker

Nordicbuddies is a design house founded in Finland in 2019, working under official Moomin licence. Prints come from Tove Jansson's original drawings, on 240 g/m² cotton. The founders grew up with the 90s animation and design for adults who still read the books.

Committed to responsible production, all products meet REACH standards and are certified by SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, and OEKO-Tex, with a focus on eco-friendly packaging.

Size & Fit

Unisex fit, XS to XXL. Take your usual size for a regular fit, or one up if you prefer it loose.

Male model is 184 cm and wears size XL. Female model is 176.5 cm and wears size S.

Care

Machine wash at up to 30°C.
Wash with similar colours, inside out to protect the print.
Use a mild detergent.
Do not bleach.
Tumble dry on low or line dry.
Do not iron directly on the print.
Washing inside out keeps the print sharp for longer.

Tove Jansson drew the first Moomin in 1945. Nordicbuddies began in 2019, designed in Finland and licensed to put those original Moominvalley drawings onto clothing rather than souvenirs — 240 g/m² cotton, cut for adults who still read the books.
