Editor's note

Atelier Wear is the Snøluv range for women and men: linen dresses and pyjamas from Linen Tales in Lithuania, cotton t-shirts and sweatshirts from HILP in Estonia and Nordicbuddies in Finland, alpaca scarves and socks from Alpaka, wool felt slippers from Omaking in Estonia, and linen towels from KOOSdisain. Every product page names its maker.

Atelier Wear, explained

What is in Atelier Wear?

Nine categories for women and men: t-shirts, linen dresses, accessories, sunglasses, outerwear, loungewear and sleepwear, sauna and bath, hoodies and sweatshirts, and wool slippers. The makers include Linen Tales, HILP, Moomin by Nordicbuddies, Alpaka, Lenne, Omaking, KOOSdisain, Tanel Veenre for silk pyjamas and SU.VI for sunglasses.

Which materials are used?

Mostly natural fibres: stonewashed linen, cotton jersey, organic cotton on selected t-shirts and hoodies, merino wool, alpaca, wool felt and silk. Each product page states the composition, the fabric weight where the maker gives it, and certifications such as OEKO-TEX.

Is it for women or for men?

Both. Linen dresses are cut for women, the linen pyjama and loungewear sets come in women's and men's cuts, and many t-shirts, hoodies, slippers, scarves and bathrobes are unisex. Each product page has a size guide in centimetres.

How do I care for linen and wool?

Linen goes in the washing machine and softens with use. Omaking felt slippers can be machine washed at 30 °C on a wool programme in a laundry bag, while the TOKU line should not be machine washed. Merino and alpaca are washed cool by hand or on a wool programme. Each product page carries the maker's own care instructions.

Where are the pieces made?

Most of the makers work in Estonia, Lithuania and Finland. Some pieces are made further away: Alpaka designs its knitwear in Estonia and has it made in Peru. The place of production is stated on each product page.

How much is delivery, and can I return a piece?

Delivery is free to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on every order, and free across the EU on orders from €150. Orders usually arrive within 3 to 8 business days after dispatch. Every order has a 14 day right of withdrawal; the full terms are in the returns policy.
