Editor's note
Kids Atelier is the Snøluv range for babies and children: merino wool and rainwear from Lenne in Estonia, softshell onesies made to order by Nuckö in Estonia, cotton rompers and muslin dresses from Zezuzulla in Poland, t-shirts from HILP, and merino blankets and gift sets for newborns. Every product page names its maker and its sizes.
Kids Atelier, explained
What is in Kids Atelier?
Thirteen categories for babies and children. Outerwear: softshell onesies from Nuckö, and rain jackets, rain sets and puddle suits from Lenne. Merino wool tops, beanies and baby overalls from Lenne. Cotton rompers, muslin dresses, shorts, leggings and sun hats from Zezuzulla. T-shirts from HILP, organic cotton bodysuits from Karloova, merino blankets from Woolish, gift sets from Wool In Love and wool felt slippers from Omaking.
How do I find the right size?
Sizes follow the EU system, which is based on a child's height in centimetres; size 86, for example, usually fits around 12 to 18 months. Each product page lists the sizes it comes in, and the full chart by age is in the Journal.
Which pieces are made for a Nordic winter?
Nuckö softshell onesies and Lenne insulated puddle suits are made for cold and wet days, and merino wool from Lenne works as the layer underneath. Wool felt slippers from Omaking keep feet warm indoors. The Journal has a layering guide by temperature.
How do I wash merino wool and cotton?
Merino wool is washed cool on a wool programme with a wool detergent, or aired between wears, as it needs washing less often than cotton. Cotton and muslin go in the washing machine. Each product page carries the maker's own care instructions.
Are there gifts for a newborn?
Yes. Wool In Love makes merino wool gift sets with a blanket, a romper and a bonnet, and Woolish makes merino baby blankets. Both are in Baby Sets and Baby Blankets.
How much is delivery, and can I return a piece?
Delivery is free to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on every order, and free across the EU on orders from €150. Orders usually arrive within 3 to 8 business days after dispatch. Every order has a 14 day right of withdrawal; the full terms are in the returns policy.
