Alpaca Scarf, Herringbone 200 cm
100% Baby Alpaca
Baby alpaca is a fibre grade, not an age. It is the finest fleece the animal produces, and it carries no lanolin, so it does not itch.
Production30 × 200 cm
A standard scarf width, long enough to wrap twice.
Herringbone Weave
Two colours woven into a chevron, pattern at a distance and texture up close.
Peru
Alpaca fibre is hollow down the middle. That is the whole reason a scarf this light holds heat the way it does, and why it breathes when you step indoors instead of turning into a radiator.
It also carries no lanolin, so it does not itch. Drawn in Estonia, knitted in Peru in small batches by people who have worked the fibre for generations.
