Details

A grey and white shark head with a red mouth and white teeth, cut from fabric and stitched on with a visible outline. Six shirt colours: black, red, light blue, grey, green and light pink. The shark is one of two motifs here with no adult version, alongside the dinosaur.

Material

95% cotton with 5% elastane, knitted to 210 g/m². Heavy enough to stay opaque and hold its shape, soft enough to wear straight against the skin, and the elastane pulls the neckline and cuffs back after a day of climbing.

Maker

HILP is an Estonian clothing label. Its character range is built on one method: the motif is cut from cloth and sewn on, edge showing, instead of screen printed. Shirts are made in the EU once the order comes in, rather than produced in bulk ahead of demand.

Size & Fit

Sizes 98/104, 110/116, 122/128, 134/140 and 146/152. The numbers are the child's height in centimetres, so a child of 115 cm takes 110/116.

Regular fit, cut straight through the body.

Between two sizes, take the larger one. Children outgrow a shirt long before this jersey wears out.

Care

Machine wash at 30 °C, inside out. Turning it inside out keeps the stitched motif away from the drum, which is what protects the edges. Iron from the reverse, never directly over the motif.
