Details

Hjo is cut slightly oversized and only 5 cm deep, which gives it a flat line rather than the bulge of a loaded satchel. It holds a laptop up to 15 inches, papers, and not much more, by design.

The flap closes with magnetic snaps and the shoulder strap adjusts and detaches. 31 by 38 by 5 cm, 541 g empty. Need the extra compartment and 3 cm more depth? Sören is the same felt, built deeper.

Material

Recycled PET felt, pressed from used drinks bottles. Dense and dry to the hand, weatherproof against light rain, and stiff enough to hold its shape when the bag is loaded. 541 g empty.

Maker

Nordhale is an everyday carry workshop in Estonia, founded in 2016. Bags, cases and laptop sleeves in recycled PET felt and water repellent polyester canvas, cut, stitched and finished by hand in its own workshop, and sold with a two year warranty.

Care

Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Air dry flat. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron. If it gets wet, wipe it down and let it dry away from a radiator.

Nordhale works out of a small workshop in Estonia, pressing recycled PET into a felt dense enough to keep its edges. Every piece is cut, stitched and finished there by hand.
