Details

The Fugue is the A-line of the two Linen Tales cuts: square neck, wide straps, an elasticated back panel, two patch pockets at the front and slits at the side. No buttons and no belt, so it goes on in one movement. White Grey Stripe is the lightest looking of the four and the one that reads coolest in high summer.

Material

100% linen at 150 to 180 g/m², heavy enough to hold the A line rather than fall flat against you. Stonewashed before cutting, so it is soft from the first wear. Certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and woven from European Flax.

Maker

Linen Tales is a family run linen house in Lithuania. Certified European flax goes from field to finished dress inside their own facility, through weaving, stonewashing and sewing, which is why the fabric and the garment answer to the same standard. Every dress in this collection is made there.

Size & Fit

Relaxed and true to size. The elasticated back panel adjusts to your shape, so between sizes take the smaller. Our model is 175 cm and wears S.

XS: half bust 44 cm (17.3 in), length 109.5 cm (43.1 in)

S: half bust 46 cm (18.1 in), length 109.5 cm (43.1 in)

M: half bust 48 cm (18.9 in), length 111.5 cm (43.9 in)

L: half bust 51 cm (20.1 in), length 112 cm (44.1 in)

XL: half bust 54 cm (21.3 in), length 112 cm (44.1 in)

XXL is in stock. Ask us before ordering and we will confirm the measurement for you.

Half bust is measured flat across the garment. Double it for the full circumference.

Care

Machine wash at 30 °C with like colours. Hang to dry. Linen softens every time it goes through the wash, so the dress you own in year three is better than the one you unpack. Iron warm while slightly damp if you want it smooth, or leave the texture as it is.
