Moomin Unisex Hoodie, Moominhouse Green
Moomin Hoodie Overview
Green Moomin hoodie with a Moominhouse chest graphic, by Nordicbuddies.
- 300 g/m², heavy enough to wear alone
- Tove Jansson's drawing, officially licensed
- The only building, not a character
- Runs small, so size up
Details
The Moominhouse as a small colour graphic on the left chest, leaving the rest of the green hoodie plain. The only architectural design in the range rather than a character.
Material
65% cotton with 35% polyester, 300 g/m². Heavy enough to wear on its own through autumn. The blend is what keeps the shoulder line and the cuffs where they started after the tenth wash rather than the second.
Maker
Nordicbuddies has held an official Moomin licence since 2019 and works from Finland and Sweden. Designs come from Tove Jansson's own drawings rather than redrawn approximations, which is the difference between a licensed piece and a lookalike. Production is audited to SMETA, BSCI and WRAP.
Size & Fit
Unisex fit, XS to XXL. Nordicbuddies cut these hoodies slim and long, so they run small. Take one size up unless you want it close to the body.
Care
Wash at 30°C with similar colours and a mild detergent, always inside out. Inside out is the whole trick: the printed face never touches the drum, so it keeps its edge for years. No bleach. Tumble dry low or line dry. Iron around the print, never over it.
