Details

The short Tæwas set: a camisole on fine straps with a scoop neck, worn with shorts on a drawstring waist. Blue is the dark colourway, a navy cloud print with lighter blue where the light comes through.

Material

100% natural mulberry silk at 22 momme. Momme is the weight measure for silk: the higher the number, the more silk in every square metre of cloth. Soft against skin and breathable.

Maker

Tæwas is the silk line of Tanel Veenre, the Estonian jewellery artist and designer, born in Tallinn and a professor at the Estonian Academy of Arts since 2012. The collection's prints are his designs: skies and clouds, with a winged seahorse motif.

Size & Fit

Two set sizes, relaxed through the body. S/M: back length 35 cm, strap 40 cm, bust up to 90 cm, shorts outer length 35 cm, inside leg 10 cm. L/XL: back length 37 cm, strap 40 cm, bust up to 102 cm, shorts outer length 38 cm, inside leg 11 cm. The shorts sit on an elasticated drawstring waist. Between sizes, go by the bust measurement.

Care

Dry clean, or hand wash at 30 °C with a silk detergent. Do not tumble dry. Iron on a low setting.
