Details

The long Tæwas set: a button front shirt with a notched collar, a chest pocket and long sleeves, worn with full length trousers on a drawstring waist. Sunset is the evening version of the print, coral fading into lilac and pale sage, with sage bands at the trouser hems.

Material

100% natural mulberry silk at 22 momme. Momme is the weight measure for silk: the higher the number, the more silk in every square metre of cloth. Soft against skin and breathable.

Maker

Tæwas is the silk line of Tanel Veenre, the Estonian jewellery artist and designer, born in Tallinn and a professor at the Estonian Academy of Arts since 2012. The collection's prints are his designs: skies and clouds, with a winged seahorse motif.

Size & Fit

Two set sizes, relaxed through the body. S/M: back length 67 cm, sleeve 61 cm, bust up to 108 cm, trouser outer leg 102 cm, inside leg 76 cm, waist 74 to 98 cm. L/XL: back length 71 cm, sleeve 63 cm, bust up to 124 cm, trouser outer leg 106 cm, inside leg 80 cm, waist 86 to 110 cm. Between sizes, go by the bust measurement.

Care

Dry clean, or hand wash at 30 °C with a silk detergent. Do not tumble dry. Iron on a low setting.
