Hof holds its shape when you set it down, which is the whole argument for a felt tote over a canvas one. Room for a laptop, papers and the rest of the day, with two handles and nothing else to fasten.

An inner pocket keeps the laptop away from keys and cables. This one is black, 41 by 32 by 15 cm, 436 g empty. Want leather handles and pockets that close? Hennes is the same body, finished differently.

Material

Recycled PET felt, pressed from used drinks bottles. Dense and dry to the hand, weatherproof against light rain, and stiff enough to hold its shape when the bag is loaded. 436 g empty.

Maker

Nordhale is an everyday carry workshop in Estonia, founded in 2016. Bags, cases and laptop sleeves in recycled PET felt and water repellent polyester canvas, cut, stitched and finished by hand in its own workshop, and sold with a two year warranty.

Care

Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Air dry flat. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron. If it gets wet, wipe it down and let it dry away from a radiator.

Nordhale works out of a small workshop in Estonia, pressing recycled PET into a felt dense enough to keep its edges. Every piece is cut, stitched and finished there by hand.
