Details

Linen holds far less water than towelling, so this robe is lighter on the shoulders wet than it looks dry. Greyish black is the darker of the two KOOSdisain colourways and reads as a dressing gown rather than sauna kit.

100% linen in a herringbone weave. Prewashed and softened.

Maker

KOOSdisain is a small Estonian studio designing linen and linen cotton textiles for the sauna, bath and home. Everything is cut and sewn in Estonia and prewashed before it ships, so it keeps its size and its relaxed look from the first use.

Size & Fit

One size, relaxed unisex cut. Back length 130 cm, circumference 140 cm, collar 5 cm. The cotton belt sets the fit.

Care

Wash separately at 40 °C on a gentle cycle in plenty of water. Do not spin. No softener, no bleach, no tumble dryer. Reshape and dry flat. No ironing needed; linen only softens with washing.

Linen

Linen is the fibre that improves with mistreatment. Every wash softens it further, and it outlasts cotton several times over, which is why a linen robe tends to be the one still in use a decade later.

It also holds far less water than towelling, so it dries between uses instead of sitting damp on a hook. This one arrives already washed and softened, so none of that softening is left for you to do.
