AIPI-2 Handmade Leather Boots, Black

The AIPI-2 has been in production for more than 30 years and is the workshop's classic: a tall lace up boot in black leather with a stitched sole. The EVA insole is sewn to the upper.

Because the sole is stitched rather than glued, the workshop can replace it when it wears down.

Upper in 2 mm natural leather, lined in natural leather for comfort in summer and winter. EVA insole sewn to the upper. Rubber sole, stitched. Laced.

AIPI is a small boot workshop in Tallinn, Estonia, where boots have been made by hand for decades. Every pair is made to order with a stitched sole, and the workshop can renew worn soles and heels after years of wear.

Brush off dirt and wipe the leather with a damp cloth.
Let wet boots dry slowly at room temperature, away from radiators and direct heat.
Keep the leather greased or waxed so it stays supple.
When the sole or heel wears down after years of use, AIPI can renew it.
